It's been fifteen days since Cisco caught a squirrel. We have hunted a fair amount of times, but it has been hard to catch any.
Gary Brewer writes that the falconer should take the hawk to the woods and just hang out in the woods for ten or fifteen minutes, letting the hawk find squirrels. For me that's tough. Today I was feeling off a little, which helped me slow down. Cisco found some squirrels, had a few chases, but I thought we might go home without one. Minutes before he caught this one, he lost another or so I thought. He actually let it go while he concentrated. Suddenly a quick grab and down he came with a balled squirrel. Well done Cisco.
